With a Little Paint

Kids in different groups have jumped in happily to paint with acrylics on cotton tees.
Painting on wooden boxes is satisfying as well.
My littlest kids in K-1 labored to roll out near-perfect spheres, not really easy to do. They manipulated their paper clay into scarves and hats. It was a big deal for them to make and assemble these different shapes, and once they got the paint on they wanted to bring their snowmen straight home. But I'll put hooks on the tops so they can decorate their trees.
Miss Aleece came to class today so her kids could begin tee shirts for their "Modern Day Heroes"
unit. Can you believe Deka's painting of Steven Spielberg? The empowerment of doing artwork!
