Annus mirabilis - a year of wonders or miracles, used to speak hopefully about the future - is the theme for up and coming doings in the art room at Phoenix Rising. The kids in all my groups have already started bringing to life their class curricula for being their own best friends, their own heroes, their own genie out of the bottle. I love these concepts of self-respect and creative making.
There isn't always time to take pictures, but one of my groups also learned about cylinders and spheres - drew them very well, then had fun making things using those shapes. Well, maybe not exactly! :-)
